Bespoke development.
Some projects don't fit a category. We build them anyway.
The work that doesn't fit a tier.
A specific technology problem that doesn't match a packaged service — a custom internal tool, a calculator or quote engine that lives on your site, an integration between systems that don't talk to each other, a small product with unusual requirements.
We've built lead-generation calculators, mortgage portals, internal dashboards, document processing tools, and a long list of one-off solutions for clients across UK financial services. The thread is always the same: a real business problem that wanted a real engineer to think about it, not a templated solution.
Two shapes, both transparent.
Two engagement shapes — fixed-price for well-defined scopes, day-rate for open-scope work where the right answer needs to emerge during the build.
Discover, scope, deliver.
A discovery call, then a written proposal with deliverables, timeline, and a fixed price. 50/50 deposit + delivery payment terms. Most engagements land in the £5,000–£30,000 range when scope is well-defined upfront.
Discover as you go.
For projects where the right answer needs to emerge during the build — research-heavy work, technical exploration, ongoing iteration. Quoted on weekly cadence with progress check-ins; you can change direction at week boundaries without renegotiating.
What we work with — honestly.
Background spans modern web platforms, .NET, SQL Server, and enterprise system integration — plus the Claude API in production across multiple builds and established Web3 toolchains where relevant. Twenty-five years of senior development experience between us. We're honest about what we know well and what we'd need to learn — if a project genuinely needs a stack we don't know, we'll tell you and either pick it up properly or recommend someone who already has.
Got something that doesn't fit a tier?
Drop a quick line describing the problem — we'll come back the same working day with whether it's a fit, a rough cost band, and an honest answer if we're not the right team for it.
